Diary Dates

Year 3 start the week with a visit from a Stone Age man! In the afternoon our School Council are off to the Mayor’s Parlour to hear about democracy in Havering. Our Spinebreakers from Y3 are going to Waterstones on Tuesday and Year 5 have an authentic Viking guest. After school we have a Governor Committee meeting. Pine have their Sharing Assembly on Wednesday 27th and on Thursday Rev Rich is in for assembly. In the afternoon we have the Parent Council (Thursday 28th @ 2pm). We end the week with our trip to the O2 with the choir for the Young Voices concert!

Parent Council: Thursday 28th January @ 2pm
In this meeting we would like to update you on the next steps proposed by the Education Funding Agency for the development of the old building. We also have news of the expansion of the Nursery and feedback from the Governing Body meeting which is on Tuesday next week. Some of our parents kindly volunteered to come in and speak with pupils new to our school to hear how they have settled in and if there is anything we could be doing better – they will also be feeding back at the meeting.

All parents are welcome! It is not an elected committee and you don’t have to have attended previous meetings. We believe that this is a good chance to communicate with you and to hear you views and thoughts on the next developments for our school.

Sharing Assembly:  Wednesday 27th January Pine Class @ 9.05am
We are delighted to invite you to come to Pine’s Sharing Assembly on Wednesday 27th. It starts at 9.10am.

Half Term: Friday 12th – Friday 19th February
