In Y2 our pupils have been looking at the artwork of Georgia O'Keefe.
First the pupils went outside to observe flowers and take close up pictures of them. This allowed them to come back to the classroom and do some detailed observational drawings without damaging the flowers.
The pupils then used their reflective muscle.
Each time we completed a sketch, we asked each other for feedback to help improve it. I made five different changes to my sketch. I hadn't got the seeds drawn correctly and I had to improve my petals

Once the sketches had been improved, the pupils added colour and created a collage for display.
