Headteacher: Mrs L Nicholls
Dear Parents and Carers,
Sports Afternoon
A big thank you to all parents and carers who attended our sports afternoons last week and this week. The sun was shining and a good time was had by all and there was a wonderful sense of sportsmanships from all of the participants. Thank you also to the staff for organising and preparing the pupils for the event.
Start and End of Day Procedures
A big thank you to all parents and carers this week for your co-operation and support with the start and end of day procedures. There have been a few teething problems but it is lovely to have more space around the school to collect children at the end of the day.

Reports and Parents Evening
Your child’s end of year report and end of key stage assessment results (EYFS, year 2 and Year 6) will be sent home today. If you would like to discuss the report with your child’s class teacher then please sign up for an appointment on the timetable by the classroom door. In the report envelope, Teachers will be available from 3.30 - 6.00pm on Monday 15th July. There is a feedback form which we would ask all parents to complete and send back to school by the end of the term. We warmly welcome your feedback and would love to hear if there is anything you feel we could improve. Many thanks.
After School Clubs
Today, Friday 12th July, is the last day for after school clubs. Mrs Chance will be sending information out regarding new clubs in September.
Congratulations!
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that both our KS1 and KS2 spelling teams won the annual Drapers’ Spelling Bee. Both teams competed against other cluster schools to win the prestigious title of the ‘The Best Spellers on the Hill!’. We are extremely proud of all of you. Well done!
Meet the New Teachers and Classes
Transition activities have been in full flow over the last few weeks in school. Pupils are now aware of who their new teachers are and which classes they will be in next year. On Wednesday 17th July, all pupils will have the opportunity to spend time their new teachers in their new classrooms. I have no doubt you will hear all about it when you collect your child at the end of the day.

Our chosen charity for the summer term is Cancer Research UK. We will be racing for life on Thursday 18th July. Throughout the day children complete the 1 - 1.5km course on the school with their classmates and collect sponsorship money for their efforts.
