Mary The Cook is Retiring!

After 34 years serving lunches to our children, Mary The Cook, is leaving us. All of the staff, parents and most importantly pupils, will miss her. We would like to thank her for the hard work she has put in, the love she has shown for all of the children and the manner in which she puts the pupils first in everything she does. We have been very lucky to have Mary at our school, she is part of Broadford’s furniture and is irreplaceable. We would like to wish her all the best for the future. Thank you Mary! This morning the children presented her with cards and cakes. After school today we will be holding a buffet reception for her to mark the day and give her a chance to chat to old friends and colleagues. Many parents have also contributed towards buying Mary a gift. 34 years continuous service is something of which to be very proud, and Mary thoroughly deserves all of the warm wishes that have poured in this week.
