Later in the year we shall also be welcoming Jeremy Strong.
In addition we have had all of our teachers trained to use the VCOP method when showing the children how to write effectively. This focuses on making the children more aware of their vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation.
The challenge will be to write a short story about a dinosaur.
In November we will be welcoming Mike Spoor – who is a professional illustrator. He will work with the children during the day… and do the illustrations for the prize winning book. What could be better than that?
One child, from this school, will have their story chosen, professionally illustrated and then published! Get your thinking hats on and make sure you are here on Wednesday to pick up some top tips from a real author.
