More Amazing Project Facts

Holly has been finding out about insects. How much do you know about fire ants? Well Holly has discovered that they stand still for eight minutes twice a day. Why do they do that? Apparently it is because they do not have eyelids - like you and me. As a result it is difficult for them to sleep. Standing still like this, enables them to have a rest. Amazingly there are approximately 40 different species of ant. Well done Holly for discovering these amazing facts!
