Thank you for your support of the Macmillan Cancer Coffee Morning. With your enthusiastic guzzling of tea and eating of cake, we had a gross total of £212. Once expenses were accounted for, the children made a grand total of £122 to donate to the charity.
In addition to this you have donated over £150 – calculated by Amy Mason and Junior Makina – for the Charity day today. I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon at the weekend in aid of Bowel Cancer. Thank you for all the support you give the school’s charity work as it really helps with the children’s understanding of how vital it is we support each other and those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Run The Royal Parks:
On Sunday, Mr Drakes ran the half marathon through the Royal Parks in London. On a crisp autumn morning, the conditions were perfect. Amazingly 12,500 people had signed up for the event - which makes it one of the best charity fund raising events in the UK. Accompanied by his brother, Mr Drakes was raising money for Cancer - the cause identified by the School's Council.
With a great starting position at the front, it was easy to avoid the crowds of runners. Both Mr Drakes, and his brother recorded Personal Bests. Mr Drakes came home in 1hr 33mins and 23secs... just trailing behind his younger sibling.
If you would like to make any donations towards the children's fundraising please see the office staff.
