Parent Governor Elections - Forms Attached

After 18 months of considerable change, Broadford Primary is in a strong place to look to the future. Our current crop of Parent Governors have been an invaluable source of support. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Trew, Mr Owsley and Mr Tshabuluka for the contributions they have made to the Governing Body during their time in office.

As a consequence of their terms of office coming to an end, we currently have 3 vacancies for Parent Governors. Below is the form required if you would like to be nominated. Please read the details contained within as it explains the process necessary to be considered for election.

If only 3 candidates come forward, there is no need for an election. Should more than 3 wish to be considered, there will be a ballot.

A paper version of the forms will be given out on Friday 19th October. If you wish to come in and speak to Mr Drakes about the nominations, please contact the office to arrange an informal chat. Alternatively you could speak with him at the gate in the morning.

The important date to note is the 25th October - next Thursday. Nominations for the three vacant posts close at 4pm.
