Following the Health Visitor presentation and activities in the classrooms the parents who came gave us some valuable feedback. This really helps us to ensure we are providing the services and support that you need.
Overall the feedback was extremely positive:
96% of parents agreed (57% strongly) that they now have a better understanding of their child's nutrition needs
95% of parents said they now see the clear link between diet and overall health (63% strongly agreed)
89% of parents attending said they will use the resources provided to help plan their child's lunch/meals.
Requests for future sessions:
- A chance to meet with a health visitor 1-1 so that we can ask specific questions
- Food plans for busy parents & those on a budget
- Some advice about first aid
- Help on encouraging children to read at home
- Ideas about food that can go in the packed lunch
- Support helping my child with maths
- Improve the PA system so that everyone can hear clearly
- Tips on how to get my children to try new foods
- Let the children join us in making some healthy snacks
- Activities which we can do with our children at home
If you have any requests for workshops, or you would like advice/support, please come in and see us. Alternatively you can email the school using the Phase Group email addresses:
