We work with the Smarter Travel Team at the
London Borough of Havering to ensure we offer every pupil in
our school the opportunity to take part in cycling courses.
Last week year 3 & 4 children had the opportunity to take part in a 'learn to ride' programme. It was the ideal time for these children to d'ditch their stabilisers'. This workshop was for any cyclists who lacked confidence or is wobbly going around corners and this training benefited these children immensely.
The riders needed to remove their stabilisers, bring their bikes and helmets to school and they enjoyed a 2 hour riding session with instructors from Cycle Training East.
Well done to all of the year 3 & 4 pupils who took part.
