Elm's Sharing Assembly

Elm class got the half term off to a great start with their Sharing Assembly. We heard about their biographical writing - focused on Usain Bolt. To help develop their fractions, the class had learnt a song about improper fractions. We also got to look at their artwork - which had been inspired by Van Gogh.

Reciprocity
When we look at Van Gogh's work, we noticed that he used different materials to thicken his paints. Sand, sawdust and glue: he used all of these to help change the viscosity of his paint. I imitated his use of sawdust and it made the painting much more textured.

Please enjoy the images of the artwork below and the video clip of their assembly.
