We're In The Paper

This week are pupil's are in the Romford Recorder for their We Are Silent campaign. Over the year, our pupils are encouraged to volunteer their time for a whole range of activities: reading buddies, play leaders and dinner monitors.

Reflectiveness
On this occasion the pupils volunteered to give up their lunch times and sit in silence. During the hour they had to reflect on a variety of questions and then share their ideas by writing them down for each other to read.

• Who are the important people in their life and why?
• How can they help to raise awareness of important issues?
• What would it feel like if you were wrongly imprisoned?

As a reward for their volunteering the children will be going to WE Day UK on March 5th.
