During the week there was an incident in Harold Hill (not involving Broadford pupils) where a child was approached by a stranger on their way to school. The child responded in a very sensible way by calling for help and removing themselves as quickly as possible from the situation. We will be speaking to the children to remind them of the principles of ‘Stranger Danger’, but if you could also speak to your children if they walk around unaccompanied it would be much appreciated.
This incident was not reported to you initially as there was not confirmation from the police that the incident didn’t involve family members.
If you do see anything unusual then please report it to the police and inform the school. Thank you.
