As we countdown to the summer holidays, next week will be very busy in school.
On Monday 10th the Nursery pupils are going to visit Barleylands for the day. Reception, year 1 & 2 have their sports morning at 9.15 am. Year 6 have a healthy eating talk by the school nurse. We have a photographer and journalist visiting from the TES to spend a day with us in preparation for our article in the publication to celebrate our recent awards.
On Tuesday 11th the book club are going to see Wind in the Willows. Year 4 are going to Adventure Island for a thrill seeking day in Southend. In the evening the year 6 pupils will be joined by their parents and families for the year 6 leavers event.
On Wednesday 12th, we have our very last club sharing assembly of the year, with both choirs and dance groups demonstrating their talents. KS2 pupils will be taking part in their sports morning after the assembly at 10.15. The spelling bee team are competing at the cluster competition at Drapers’ Academy. Cherry and Cedar spinebreakers are visiting the library.
On Thursday 13th, Reception are going to Tropical Wings for the day and Year 3 are visiting Colchester Zoo. The Nursery pupils will be taking part in their sporting activities. The Learning Federation governors are visiting both school's on during the day visiting classes and talking with pupils.
On Friday 14th, our pupils who have been studying for their LAMDA exams will be taking these exams throughout the day on Friday. Good luck to them all. We would also like to invite parents and carers of pupils in years 5 to join the pupils for their ‘Fiver Fair’. This is the final part of their project and I know the pupil are very excited about sharing their work with you all.
Friday 14th July is the last clubs session of the year.
