The University of Broadford has started and the ultimate chess champions have begun to refine their chess game to see who will reign victorious in 2023.
During week one the game players learned how to set up the board correctly, the names of each piece and how the pawns, queens and kings move. In week two we added another piece to the board and learned about the rooks. They are important pieces and can take command of a whole rank or file. We do not want to loos them early in the game.
I am sure that this cohort of chess players are going to use tactics and strategies to manoeuvre the battlefield and become the ultimate chess champion.
