Every week, our pupils dive into an exciting 'Worldly Wise' assembly, where they expand their general knowledge and build a rich understanding of the world around them! By learning a little about a lot, they’ll be able to connect events and ideas across various situations.
This half term, we're exploring EXTINCT ANIMALS
The 'Worldly Wise' Challenge is a thrilling chance for pupils to dive deeper into this topic with additional research and creative tasks. We’ve got separate activities for Y3/4 (green sheet) and Y5/6 (blue sheet). Pupils can choose as many tasks as they like, and they’re welcome to explore any other animals that we haven't explored.
While this challenge is optional and adds to their daily 15 minutes of reading, spelling practice, and times tables practice, it offers a fun way to enhance their learning experience.
At the end of the half term, those who complete a project demonstrating outstanding effort and creativity will be awarded a special 'Worldly Wise Challenge' certificate.
You get to choose what you research and how you explore it—you're in control! We can’t wait to see the amazing places your learning will take you!
Worldly Wise is new to pupils in Y1 and Y2. Currently, they already have the option of completing the Bingo Challenge, however, if they are driven to research our current Worldly Wise topic then please indulge them!
