Fact Hunters: Cats & peacocks

Did you know that The Oval cricket ground (in London) was the first in the UK to host international test cricket? It was second in the world, after the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Did you know that cats have between 21-23 caudal bones in their tail? Also the bones are joined with muscle, not ligaments like humans. That’s why their tails are so flexible and strong.

Did you know that the peacock is the national bird of India? The peacock is portrayed as the image of the God of thunder, rains and war, Indra. People believe that, when a peacock extends its tail, rainfall is on the cards.
