Diary Dates:

On Monday we have Year 3 visiting the Science Museum & Mrs Nicholls is out at the Young Voices launch event in London – we are very excited about our return to the O2 this year! Tuesday sees the return of Phil Eckett – the Owl Man – to show his amazing birds to EYFS. Cedar & Cherry have their sharing assembly on Wednesday 8th October and Year 3 are off to the cinema to watch the BBC 10 Pieces classical music film. In the afternoon we have a meeting for parents of our More Able pupils to discuss how we can support them at home and at school. Year 4 are going to the Hanningfield reservoir on Thursday and we have our first football match against Mead that night. At the end of the week we have flu immunization, cycling club and a visit from Councillor Meg Davies – the new Lead for Education.

Sharing Assembly: Cedar & Cherry 9.05am Wednesday 8th October
To ensure that every class gets to share their work, we have had to double up some of the assemblies. It won’t be too long until Christmas rolls around and it means that we lose some dates for Sharing Assemblies. As a consequence, Year 1 & Year 2 are doing their ones together this term. We look forward to welcoming parents and friends assembly next week.
