Hama Beads Club

Clubs are now well under way. It is always a pleasure to experience the calm atmosphere in Hama Beads Club. Armed with tweezers and a patient attitude the children were creating some beautiful designs. It was also good to see evidence of the 4R skills which we talk about developing:

Resilience - all the children were absorbed in the task, brows furrowed and hands steady as they worked.
Reflective - they all kept checking their deigns to see that they had followed the pattern they were aiming for. Some even decided to change tack and go for something different.
Resourceful - by arranging the hama beads in different ways they were able to create some great designs
Reciprocity - helping each other to complete their work; finding beads of a particular colour for their partner

Great job!
