Fact Hunters: Owls & dogs

Did you know that an owl’s eyes are so well developed, that they are not eye balls as such, but elongated tubes? They are held in place by bony structures in the skull called Sclerotic rings.

Scientists have discovered, however, that dogs communicate far more information about their emotions to each other with their tails than was previously believed. A new study has shown that dogs tend to move their tails more to the right or to the left depending on how happy or sad they feel.
