Diary Dates

Parents’ Evening Dates: Monday 21st March & Wednesday 23rd March
Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to tweak the dates for Parents’ Evening. It will now fall on the Monday (3.30 – 7.00pm) and Wednesday (3.30 – 6.00pm) of the final week of term. Letters for appointments will go out early next week.

Packed Lunch Day: 14th March
We have been selected to host a Phonics Roadshow on behalf of the Department for education. Over 30 delegates from other schools will be coming to visit Broadford and see your children in action with their RWI lessons. This will mean that the hall is out of use for the morning, so lunch on this day will have to be a packed lunch. The kitchen will send home letters early next week if you wish to have a school canteen provided packed lunch.

Diary Dates
We have a busy start to the week with our next batch of Bikeability training. On Monday our Cedar Spinebreakers are also going to Hilldene Library and there is a meeting at 4pm with the Council to discuss the changes to parking restrictions around the school. Tuesday sees Cedar class going to Tesco for their Farm to Fork workshop. There is a netball tournament at Hilldene in the afternoon for Year 5&6, while two of our Year 5 pupils are off to Wembley Arena to practise for their performance on Wednesday. Wednesday is WE Day! 20 of our pupils have earned tickets to go to this incredible show: a reward for all of the volunteering that has been completed. Cherry class are out to Tesco and we have the termly Spelling Bee event. Cycle Club returns on Thursday and we have the House Quiz Competition, with the best performers picked to represent the school next week… so get watching the news! Friday sees the usual University sessions… a very busy week indeed.

Sharing Assembly:  Spelling Bee Competition
There isn’t a Sharing Assembly this week as we have the termly Spelling Bee; this will be held in classes.
