Farm Volunteers

We are very fortunate to have a sister school with such amazing outdoor facilities. Just before half term some more of our Broadford pupils got to work on Mead Farm as volunteers.

Hugo the dog is my favourite. He followed me everywhere!

My best bit was working with Miss Rowton to clean out the animals and feed the goats.

I wasn’t too keen on the horses - they were huge. I loved the rabbits. Mead have baby ones that fit in your hand.

We have already seen how the farm has a very positive impact on behaviour and engagement from all pupils... and even the staff! Paige (the goat) also seems to be having a lovely time as the boys groom her.
