Rugby Club Trains With Pyrgo Priory

This term we have seen the emergence of a very strong Tag Rugby club. Led by Mrs Burrell the children have thoroughly enjoyed their weekly training sessions.

At Broadford we offer after school clubs at no charge to the parents or pupils; as a result the take up has been excellent. Of all the clubs we offer the Tag Rugby for the Year 3/4 children has been one of the most popular.

Pyrgo Priory offer a similar club, which is run by their Headteacher Mr Lucas. It has been joint training sessions with our local neighbour that has really grabbed the children's interest. Thursday evening training events with Pyrgo are now a regular date in our diary... and we are very grateful for it.

Parents have commented on how good it is to see their children competing with and against another school. It has also helped to further strengthen our local school community - which in Harold Hill is one of our real strengths.

Many thanks to Mr Lucas and Mrs Burrell, and we look forward to seeing Pyrgo again this Thursday!
