Donate an advent calendar and spread some joy during advent

We have dressed as superheros to scare hunger away.
We have worn wellies and donated food that can be grown in the garden to scare hunger away.
Now we are going to spread the joy of christmas!

The season of good will is very close and the period of Advent, when we all start preparing for Christmas is just around the corner.

Children across the country will be opening their advent calendars from the 1st December. However, there are many children who will miss out on this time honoured tradition because their family is in crisis.

We want to work with our frineds The Trussell Trust to support our local foodbank this advent. If every family in our school donated one advent calendar we could help hundreds of children in our community and spread some joy at this time of year.

Next week would like all Broadford pupils to donated an advent calendar to our local foodbank. Please bring in your donation any day next week and our Team Broadford volunteers will collected them and deliver them to the foodbank on Faringdon Avenue.

Thank you for your support constant.
