Reading League Winners

Our Reading League winners had a great visit to Upton Park at the weekend. After their hard work last term reading every night, completing book reviews and taking part in the library challenges the children were very excited to get their reward.

West Ham had been extremely kind in offering 14 tickets for just £12! With West Ham currently riding high in the Premiership, the mood around the ground was very positive.

Although the first half was goalless, everyone knew it would only be a matter of time until the opener was scored. To win at home 3-0 was a great way to celebrate the children's achievements. We can now look forward to the next trip, once the Spring reading competition is completed.
