Our choir is off to the O2 on Monday for their Young Voices performance. The Adult Literacy course on Monday has been cancelled – see below. In the afternoon Miss Sparkes is taking the Yr1&2 Spinebreakers to Hilldene Library. Year 5 have their trip to Langdon Hills on Tuesday and after school we have a netball match against Pyrgo. Cedar have their Sharing Assembly on Wednesday at 9am. Year 3&4 have a Sound workshop on Thursday – while Year 6 are off to Hampton Court Palace. Finally we end the week with Rowan’s maths party and the safety training for Year 1 & Year 2 – bikes and scooters.
Parent Courses: Jewellery Making Wednesday 28th 3.30pm – 5.30pm
Due to insufficient levels of interest we have had to postpone the Adult Literacy course. We need at least 6 parents to commit to the weekly sessions before the Adult College will run it. However we will be offering a Jewllery Making Course next week – see above details. Please call the office to reserve your place.
Bike & Scooter Safety Training: Friday 30th January
After the late cancellation of the last session, we are pleased to inform you that the Year 1&2 safety training for bikes and scooters has been rearranged for Friday 30th January. Pupils just need to bring in their bike or scooter – or both.
Maths Parties: Rowan 30th January @ 9am
Please check the date list for your child’s Maths Party. We started these last term as we believe it is important for you to have a chance to come in and see the strategies we use to help your child progress with maths. The parties are for half an hour – normally on a Friday morning – and you get to experience Rock Star Times Tables as well as play some maths games. We look forward to seeing you there.
