Brendie's Retirement

July 21st 2017 was a momentous date as it saw the retirement of our Brendie Clements! After 28 years of working to care for, support and encourage the children on Broadford Primary, Brenda is starting her retirement.

Brenda is the epitome of all we hold dear at Broadford - a fantastic example of the values and ethos that we want to communicate to every staff member, pupil and parent. Every school cares for its pupils, but not every school loves their pupils. Brenda took care of every pupil at the school as if they were her own child/grand child. She has been the smiling happy face on the door, who greets every visitor and parent with a cheerful hello - ensuring that everyone gets the warm Broadford welcome that helps to set our school apart.

We know that Brenda has had a huge, positive impact on so many pupils and families that she will still be part of our school long after she has left. However we have a sneaking suspicion that she will be back soon to visit.

Thank you Brenda for all you have done... we all wish you an extremely happy and well deserved retirement.
