Harold Hill Athletic Champions!

We were delighted to see Broadford pupils lift the Harold Hill Athletics trophy for the first time this year. In the last five years, St Ursula's have won it every time. As a result the children were bursting with pride to have finally ended that run and put themselves on top of the leaderboard!

All the primary schools from across the Harold Hill and Harold Wood area came together for a sports festival sponsored by Drapers Academy. With 8 different schools represented and over 300 pupils taking part in a whole range of events it was a very successful and enjoyable community day.

'For our pupils this event is always the highlight of the sporting calendar. They relish the friendly but competitive environment with the local schools. Drapers organised a great day!'
Steve Portway - PE Coach Broadford

Overall the winners of the event were Broadford Primary, but there were four different school winners at each age category: Pyrgo Priory, Brookside Juniors, Mead & Broadford.
