Diary Dates

On Monday 10th October pupils in years 1-4 will be treated to a road safety theatre in education show called “Cat with Nine Lives’.

On Tuesday 11th we invite any parents who would like to become reading volunteers in school along to our reading workshop. You are also welcome to join us if you would like a little bit more information regarding hearing your children read in school. Year 4 are going to visit a Roman Villa to enhance their learning in this area. Year 6 will be visiting Mead Primary School on Tuesday afternoon to work with the year 6 pupils there and enjoy a Theatre of law presentation.

Some of our musical pupils will be visiting the Royal Albert hall on Wednesday 12th for the Primary Proms.
Ash class will be hosting the sharing assembly at 9.00 am and sharing all of their wonderful work with us. We are looking forward to welcoming as many parents as possible.

The school nurse will be visiting year 5 on Thursday 13th to talk about hygiene and year 2 will enjoy a presentation from the Freshwater Theatre company. After school the boys football team will be playing Hilldene Primary School.

On Friday 14th, pupils from the school council are hosting a non-uniform days in aid of Brandina, this is the  pupil that the school sponsors in Uganda. All pupils are invited to dress in the colours of the Ugandan flag (red, black and yellow) and pay 50p towards the charity Watoto.
Phil Mylrea will be leading our cyclists along the local bike paths during the day and after school.
Wow! What a week!

After all of that, Miss Sparkes and the spinebreakers will be hosting the first of the book fairs which will take place under the canopy outside year 1 classrooms.
