Do you leap into the car in the morning - its soft purring engine carrying you gently to school? Are you one of the pupils who walk the short distance from Dulverton to Faringdon Avenue? Have you ever caught the bus up the hill to save your weary legs?
If the answer to these questions is yes, spare a thought for these children.
In Kenya's Rift Valley the children - who live at 8,530ft above sea level - run to school every day! For some pupils it is a 40min run there and a 40min run home. Despite this they will still jog back to their houses for a spot of lunch before returning to classes for the afternoon. Can you work out how much running that is in a day... 160mins!
Is it any wonder that Kenya produces so many great runners?
