Persimmon Homes awards £200 prize to the school!
Our
Year 5 children have taken part in a competition to name a local housing estate
for the developers Persimmion… and won! Neave Gardens was the suggestion of Mia
Rose (from Maple) and that was chosen as the winner. As a result she has earned
some WHSmith vouchers for herself and £200 for the school. The housing
development will be called Neave Place; but the show home will be named Neave
Gardens. Runners up prizes were also given to Arras Hovells, Lemarr Benton and
Elsaf Zema. Watch out for the Romford Recorder next week as I feel a story
coming on.
