Year 5&6 Study Macbeth

What story could be better suited to hold the interest of 10 and 11 year old pupils than Macbeth? Featuring brave warriors, treachery, cackling witches and dark deeds it is a tale that has only got better with age.

Forming part of a stunning new display in our main corridor, the children have been completing Top Trump inspired playing cards for each of the main characters. Of course Macbeth (the hero and villain) has incredible strength and bravery... he just isn't a very good friend! Could there be a woman more cunning than Lady Macbeth? While the witches wouldn't win in battle, their magic is quite a force to behold.

Well done Year 5&6, and a big thank you to Mrs Caccavale for putting up the display.

Check out Mrs Macbeth's treachery score... 100!

How do you think the newspapers of the day would have reported the bloody events in Scotland?

Have a read of their micro stories. Macbeth in just 200 words!
