Our school council have noted that a significant number of pupils in their classes have not got the correct PE kit. We require the children to have: plain white t-shirt, navy blue shorts, white socks, black trainers/plimsolls. We shall be purchasing additional PE kit for sale in the school office, the prices for which will be published once the order has come in.
If your child is still using one of the coloured house t-shirts for PE, that is absolutely fine. Once they have grown out of it, please replace it with a white one. The issue is to do with pupils who either have no kit, or kit that is not appropriate: football strip, designer t-shirts, fashion clothing.
The teaching staff have been asked to pay close attention to kits and to speak to parents if the right clothing is not available for the PE lessons.
