Walk to School Week - 18th - 21st May

Walk to School Week – 18th – 21st June 2015
Next week is walk to school week and we want as many pupils as possible to walk to school. If you have to drive or get the bus to school could you park further away and walk or get off the bus a few stops before your normal bus stop. The walk to school is the perfect opportunity for some quality family time or a good chat with friends helping to develop strong and happy relationships. You could play a game of ‘I spy’ on your journey.
Walkers Breakfast
On Tuesday 19th and Thursday 21st we will be having a walker’s breakfast. So if you walk to school you will get a delicious treat when you arrive so that you are ready to learn when you get to your classroom.
Walking Bus
A walking school bus is a group of children walking to school with one or more adults. If that sounds simple, it is, and that’s part of the beauty of the walking school bus. On Wednesday 20th we will be organising a walking bus. There will be school staff at Bosworth playing field waiting for any children who would like to walk to school with their friends at 8.15 am. These children can walk to school on the ‘walking bus’.
