Pancake Day @ Broadford Primary

At Broadford our pupils went the extra mile with their Pancake Day celebrations by making their own batter. Perhaps that is why the pancakes were so easy to get airbourne! With a little help from Mrs Purse, Leo Holloway (aged 6) and Alfie Pilcher (aged 6) managed to flip their pancake a record 6 times!
"It tasted delicious. Chocolate spread and raspberry sauce... amazing!" - Leo
All of the children in the Nursery, Reception and Year 1 classes managed to have a go at making their own pancakes, ensuring that this year was the biggest Shrove Tuesday celebration ever at Broadford.

"Breaking eggs, whisking batter and flipping pancakes was a great way to inspire the children's writing. The descriptions they produced after wards were full of WOW words delicious, tasty, tempting, sensational. A very successful afternoon of cooking and Literacy!" - Mr Drakes

So, how do you eat yours?
