Sir Tim Brighouse & Blackbird Academy Trust:

We are delighted to welcome Sir Tim Brighouse to our school today. He is bringing nine NQTs from his schools in Oxford where he is on the Governing body. Sir Tim has a distinguished career in education, the was the former chief commissioner for schools and was knighted in the 2009 New Year Honours. He requested to come and visit Broadford as he wanted his first year teachers to experience a school which has a real heart and one that has achieved a sparkling transformation. We are very pleased to have a chance to share the hard work and passion that all of our school community have shown to effect these changes and ensure that our children get the outstanding education they deserve.
