During the week our School Council reps will be giving a presentation to the classes so that they understand how to prevent a stroke and what to do if one occurs.

Stroke Awareness: Purple Day Monday 15th June
On Monday 15th June we will be holding a ‘Purple Day’ to help raise Stroke Awareness. Last week the children had a visit from a Stroke Nurse – who told them about prevention and support for Stroke Victims. Later this week we will also be holding a Sip for Stroke coffee morning (date TBC). On Monday it is a normal school uniform day but the children can wear an item of purple clothing (socks, hair bands, t-shirt). We are asking for a 50p donation per child, all of which will go towards Stroke Awareness.
During the week our School Council reps will be giving a presentation to the classes so that they understand how to prevent a stroke and what to do if one occurs.
