Local Environment Study

This term our Year 4&5 Art Team, led by Mrs Caccavale, have been conducting a local art study. For this the team had to:

• complete a local community walk to identify different colours, materials and textures that they could see in the environment
• use sketches to form a plan for a local area study
• learn how to use perspective to add depth to their drawings
• collect materials from the local environment to add to their designs
• Combine the mediums to produce their finished artwork

Once they were finished, the pieces of art will then be submitted to a London wide competition and displayed at City Hall. The finished pieces look amazing... well done to all of you!
